SANTA and FREE ICE CREAM?! 🎅

*|MC:SUBJECT|*

UP ON THE ROOFTOP!
Downtown’s most festive holiday tradition, Miracle on Congress Streturned on Friday, December 4th, gifting needed holiday cheer to all during the month of December! In lieu of an indoor pop-up, Santa will be ‘up on the rooftop’ at the Playground to wave and welcome his adoring fans below. Down in front of the Tucson Together mural, drop your letter to Santa in the mailbox and grab a free kids scoop of Peppermint Ice Cream from a helpful elf in the HUB Ice Cream truck.

Next door, HUB Restaurant and Ice Creamery has put together a special holiday-inspired cocktail menu so the grownups can get in the spirit of things, too. The cocktails are available at the HUB Bar during regular HUB hours:

Winter Sangria (HUB 226 red blend, Flying Leap Wine’s Orange Brandy, mulled wine reduction)
HUB’s Coquito (house-made Puerto Rican-style eggnog with spiced rum)
Tucson Boulevardier (Whiskey Del Bac, Campari, sweet vermouth)
Santa’s Peanut Butter Cookies (Screwball peanut butter whiskey, creme de cacao, cream)

Miracle on Congress St. “Up on the Rooftop”:
When: December 4 – December 19 (Fridays – Sundays)
Where: Playground Rooftop, corner of 5th and Congress, HUB Ice Cream, HUB Restaurant & Ice Creamery

Santa’s Hours:
Fridays – Saturdays: 4pm-6:30pm
Sundays: 12pm – 4pm
*Enjoy free parking at the AC Hotel Tucson Downtown during Santa’s hours*

2020 has been quite the year, let’s end it with fun and cheer!

We Sleigh at Comfort!

They’re enduring HUB Classics (minus the bird), mouth-watering dishes that make any day or evening automatically better and more festive. We all need a bit of comfort right now. Come on in and safely enjoy your favorites at our bar, or outside on our heated patio, or heaped into a take-out box for a delicious lunch or dinner to bring home to your elves

New Hub Menu

Open for Dine-in, Indoor/Outdoor, and Takeout: Guests can safely enjoy HUB’s classic comfort food and homemade ice cream on a thoughtfully redesigned patio (now stretching 150 feet along Congress Street!), socially-distanced indoor dining, server masks and more, to ensure a safe space and warm hospitality. Lunch + Dinner: Sunday-Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday + Saturday 11am-10pm. Brunch: Saturday + Sunday 11am-3pm. Reservations are not required, but recommended. HUB He(ART)s
Our downtown is vibrant, artful, and filled with love. Prior to opening this month, HUB Restaurant and the ownership group, LoveBlock Partners, joined with local artist Alejandra Trujillo(@atrujillo_art) to create the piece, “Love Thy City”, that stretches 150 feet along the outside dining space. The work represents the love we have for the City and its perseverance during this challenging year. Every time you see the bouquets of bright hearts popping out from our building, we hope it brings a bit of joy and hope into your day. Stay tuned as we partner with more amazing local artists in the future. #HUBLove

Holi-Yay Social Hour?
Oh, how our friends at Playground love hosting those rooftop private events! Have a socially distanced and safe get-together in mind? Reach out to them to go over some options: events@playgroundtucson.com.
