Adara Rae is an up-and-coming local singer/songwriter with a folk-pop feel performing solo and with her backing band as “Adara Rae & The Homewreckers”. Whether performing songs of her own or some favorite covers from the likes of The Cure, The Everly Brothers, The Smiths, The Beatles, or just doing an impromptu disco medley, she’s always singing from the heart and trying to serve up some folk/country roots with a modern twist.
Adara is frequently compared to artists such as Natalie Merchant, Nora Jones, and even a bit of a rockin’ version of Taylor Swift.
At a young age she has played in multiple local festivals and events as well as the world-renowned South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival in Austin, Texas.
